Tomatillo are the base for many dishes in Mexican cuisine, which include salsa verde, enchiladas verdes and chilaquiles.      Can be used to prepare stews with chicken or pork. Tomatillos are a bit tangy but not spicy at all. This size is perfect to prepare the right amount to make the salsa for an authentic enchiladas.

Tomatillo vormt de basis voor veel gerechten uit de Mexicaanse keuken, waaronder salsa verde, enchiladas verdes en chilaquiles. Kan worden gebruikt voor het bereiden van stoofschotels met kip of varkensvlees. Tomatillos zijn een beetje pittig, maar helemaal niet pittig. Keep in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Once opened, place in an air tight container and keep refrigerated for up to one week.

Op een koele, droge plaats bewaren, uit de buurt van zonlicht. Eenmaal geopend, in een luchtdichte verpakking plaatsen en maximaal een week in de koelkast bewaren.
